Though Ev's story is blogworthy, I found it to be irrelevant and had to lay down some mod (after letting him know, of course).
But this brings up an interesting question: what exactly is allowed here? Do we allow for short form, like Josh's post? Is it just philosophy, or can we pose questions that are more open ended? Do we relegate anecdotes to just our personal blogs?
Let's lay down some ground rules and link to it as a Code of Conduct on the sidebar.

ok, my two cents are that this is space for discussioin. i've been wanting to make blog entries that are just "define ____" and that's all. the entire discussion being in the comments.
it's not a place to share personal events and annecdotes unless there's the intention of generating discussion of that specific topic. This video post i think is appropriate because it was intended to be talked about (i know because i suggested it be posted.)
having said that, im uncomfortable saying "you can't post such and such". public implies differences of opinion, even as to the nature of the blog. for clarity and focus, i'd like to say that we limit posts to things we specifically want to talk about in a group setting.
whatchall think

This is good, I like that.
That sounds fine to me.
Sorry I messed up.
